Your Rights and Data Deletion Requests

Two roles, two paths. Echo19 acts as a data controller for information about our direct customers (people who hold Echo19 accounts, and the information they give us to provide our Services). Echo19 acts as a data processor for the contact lists our customers upload into our platform; in those lists, our customer is the data controller. If you are a contact of an Echo19 customer and wish to be removed from a specific customer's list, we will acknowledge your request and forward it to the customer (the controller of that data) for action. If we are the controller of your data, we will process your deletion request directly.

We will acknowledge every verified request within a reasonable timeframe and, absent a legal exception, aim to complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Every request is logged and tracked through completion for audit purposes (including under our SOC 2 program). We retain a record of the request itself (but not the deleted data) to demonstrate compliance.
